Terms of Use
Welcome to StoryPeek. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the StoryPeek website and the tools we provide for viewing and downloading public Instagram content.\n\nBy using StoryPeek, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the service. Please read them carefully, as they include important information about what StoryPeek does, what you are responsible for, and the limits of our liability.\n\nThese Terms were last updated on June 12, 2026.
What StoryPeek Is
StoryPeek is a free, no-login, anonymous web tool that lets you view and download publicly available Instagram content, including stories, highlights, reels, posts, and basic profile information.
You do not need an account to use StoryPeek, and you never have to log in or hand over any Instagram credentials. Because you are not logged in, the owner of the content you view is not notified that you looked at it.
StoryPeek works only with public Instagram accounts. Content from private accounts is not accessible and is not supported. We do not attempt to bypass privacy settings, request access to private profiles, or unlock content that an account owner has chosen to keep private.
We Do Not Host Content
StoryPeek does not store or host the photos, videos, stories, reels, or other media that you view or download. That media streams directly from Instagram's own servers to your device.
To make the service work and to keep it responsive, we may temporarily cache basic profile information (such as profile JSON data) for a short period, typically around 10 to 30 minutes. This cached data is used only to display and deliver the requested public content and is not a permanent archive.
Because the underlying content lives on Instagram's servers, what is available through StoryPeek depends entirely on what Instagram makes publicly available at any given moment. We cannot guarantee that any particular profile or piece of content will be accessible.
Permitted Use
StoryPeek is intended for personal, lawful use to view and download content that is already public on Instagram. You may use the service to look up public profiles and save public content you are allowed to access.
You agree to use StoryPeek only in ways that comply with these Terms and with all applicable laws, regulations, and the rights of others. You also agree to respect Instagram's own terms and policies where they apply to your activity.
You must not use StoryPeek to attempt to access private accounts, private messages, or any content that is not publicly available, and you must not try to circumvent privacy controls, authentication, or other technical restrictions.
Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
StoryPeek is provided for ordinary, human-scale use. You may not use the service to harass, stalk, threaten, defame, or harm any person, or to engage in any illegal activity.
You may not use automated tools, bots, scripts, scrapers, or any other means to access StoryPeek in bulk, to overload our systems, or to harvest data at scale. Automated mass downloading, high-volume querying, reselling access to the service, or otherwise abusing the infrastructure is strictly prohibited.
You also may not attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to StoryPeek, its servers, or its underlying systems, or interfere with any other person's use of the service.
Your Responsibility for Downloaded Content
You are solely responsible for how you use any content you view or download through StoryPeek. The content you access is created and owned by other people, and downloading it does not transfer any rights to you.
You must respect copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, and all other rights of content owners and the people who appear in that content. You may not republish, redistribute, sell, or otherwise use downloaded content in any way that infringes someone's rights or violates the law.
Many uses of someone else's content require the owner's permission. If you are unsure whether a particular use is allowed, you should obtain consent from the rights holder or seek your own legal advice before proceeding. StoryPeek is not responsible for what you do with content after you download it.
Rate Limiting and Blocking
To protect the service and keep it available for everyone, we may monitor usage and apply limits as we see fit.
We reserve the right to throttle, rate-limit, suspend, or block any user, IP address, or request pattern at any time and without notice, particularly where we detect abuse, automated activity, or behavior that violates these Terms.
These measures are intended to keep StoryPeek fast, reliable, and fair, and they do not create any obligation on our part to provide a guaranteed level of access.
Service Provided As Is
StoryPeek is provided strictly on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available, or that any content retrieved will be accurate, complete, or up to date.
Because StoryPeek depends on third-party systems that we do not control, the service may change, break, or stop working at any time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of StoryPeek without notice and without liability to you.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StoryPeek and its operators, owners, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the service.
This applies regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be fully excluded under applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us to use StoryPeek (which is zero, as the service is free) or one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
Not Affiliated With Instagram or Meta

The names "Instagram" and "Meta," as well as related names, marks, logos, and brand features, are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the public content that StoryPeek can help you view.
